About Candis Nyte
Born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, Candis Nyte has had a love of music (especially for singing) for as long as she can remember. She has collaborated with such greats as original lead singer and songwriter for Dishwalla, J.R. Richards; composer extraordinaire Beverly Van Wingerden; the multitalented Adam Phillips; and the renowned Santa Barbara Voice Academy’s Karen Lytle.
Inspired by her own life experiences, Nyte spent over eight months writing, recording and producing her first self-published singles Here We Are and Here We Are (Remix), which chronicle her journey to find love.
“Songwriting, singing and creating music are such important outlets for me,” says Nyte. “There’s something so raw and personal about the whole process. My music is an extension of myself. I hope you enjoy it!”
